Today is going to be a long day...

My day started at 4:00am. This is much better than the 2:30am day yesterday. Why did I wake up so early... My poor Dallin man has the flu. That is why I was up at 2:30 yesterday. I helped him find his bowl got him a drink of water and laid down next to him. About an hour later I woke because I thought the house was on fire but it was just Dallin. He was burning up. I gave him some medicine and put him back to bed. About 10 mins after I laid down Corey arrived home from work and I told him what was happening. I laid there a little longer then Dallin came running into my room shouting something frantic about it being to big like I have, not making any sense so I told him to run to the toilet. I wasn't sure what he was talking about but if it was throw up that was to big I surely didn't want to have to clean it out of my carpet. So I took him to his bathroom and he kept freaking out shaking his hands and grabbing his throat and then raising his hands in the air and shaking them and then back down close to the ground. You may have thought he was doing some dancing ritual. He looked terrified, then I thought that maybe he was having one of his night terrors. He gets those every once in a while. He was a bit more awake this time than usual so I wasn't what it was, but it definitely wasn't normal. After a while he walked back to his bed and said a few more things that didn't make a whole lots of sense and then started to fall asleep. He woke back up with a gasp and started the freaking out all over again. He said his room was too big and it was freaking him out and he needed to get out. So he walked to the hall and sat down and kept looking back into his room like it was a terrifying place. I sat there with him asking if I could help him with anything. He finally decided to try to go back to bed. So then I headed back to bed only to be woke shortly after by my other 3 healthy children with requests of food and cuddles. I sat down for maybe 5 minutes to cuddle with Bryant when Charlie couldn't take it any longer and HAD TO HAVE FOOD!!!! So I got up and made then all peanut butter sandwiches. Then after I was done making those it was requests of cereal. Charlie didn't eat his. The Dallin woke up and said he was hungry. He wanted malt-o-meal. I wasn't excited about making that but if that is what my tiny skinny sick boy wanted I was gonna make him some. He kept running back to his bowl for fear he was going to throw up. I made his malt-o-meal, he never ate it but did touch it making it unsharable (don't think that is even a word). Then he wanted a bath so I ran some water for him. Charlie ran it and wanted a bath too. I told him that Dallin needed this one for himself. About two minutes later Dallin was done with the bath, he said it made him feel worse. But he did manage to spit in the bath a couple times so there was no sharing of that water either. I got him situated in his bed with some gatorade and a movie and his bowl. Ashe came in and said he was sick to because he wanted to watch the movie also. I told not a chance. He threw and fit and I had to peel his fingers from the chair and drag him out of the room. He pouted for a while outside the room. I ran some new water for Charlie and was getting him in the bath. Bryant came in and requested some malt-o-meal also. Luckily Charlie only wanted a 2 minute bath also. Why did I waste all that water??? I headed to the kitchen to make more malt-o-meal for Bryant then Charlie saw and wanted some too. So I made Bryant share which he wasn't happy about. Then I started making a cake for a party tomorrow. Charlie has to help when he sees anything happening in the kitchen. I finished the cake and charlie threw a huge fit that I wouldn't let him eat it. I took the trash out and then sat down to relax and play on my phone for a bit. As soon as I went to sit down Charlie jumped up in the chair and insisted that I sit on HIS lap. I told him he could sit on mine but he wasn't having it. So I sat on his lap fora few seconds then he told me ok and said that it was his chair. I found a different seat and as soon as I sat down, like a leach Bryant was right next to me saying snuggle time. So we snuggled and I watched a video on my phone. I had to pause the video 5 or 6 times before I gave up and got up to make some juice for my parched children. For peat sake, they may have died if I did it a second later. Now I have a two year pulling my arm to go outside and draw on the ground. So off I go. Oh and this is all before 11 am!!!

Kids can be so funny!!!

We have been having a lot of fun here with all this nice weather. We spend most of our days outside riding bikes and soaking up the rays. I was reading a friends blog about her son who is fighting cancer right now. I was just bawling reading just what they have to go through and admire the strength they all have. I know as a mother it must be incredibly hard for my friend and she still has a smile on her face. We are not close but I have a great love for her and think she is a pretty awesome person. I also think her little man is a super stud!! After catching up on what they are going through on her blog and after bawling I wanted to go climb into bed with my boys. But I could decide which one I would climb into bed with. I wanted to hold them all. So then I thought about just taking turns and laying with each of them for a couple hours each. Then I realized I really would get no sleep if I did that and that I would become the mother I don't like being, due to lack of sleep, so I decided against it. Then I thought that I would just go get them all and bring them into bed with me but was worried that they would all wake up and think we were having a party in mommy's bed. So I decided to just go to bed, but was a little sad cause I really wanted to hold them. Then... Dallin came into my room from a nightmare. I happily opened up the covers and let him cuddle next to me. About an hour later Bryant came in with a nightmare also. I am sad that they were having nightmares but man I was happy to get to have them in be with me. I am so grateful for my healthy children. I think I take that for-granted too often but I truly do feel blessed. I prayed extra hard last night for my friend and her family and for the blessing in my life.

On a lighter note...

The last couple days Asher hasn't been feeling great but isn't horrible either. A little TMI but he came running up to me to tell me something and farted as he did it. He got a huge smile and said, Whoa, that was a big one, hehe. Then he said what he needed to and started to walk away and that is when he realized it wasn't just a fart...
His walk made me chuckle quite a bit and he came walking back and said "mom that wasn't just a fart. It was poop too, I need your help."
So I went to help him out. Then a bit later it happened again but not as much this time, really there was barely anything there and if he were any of my other kids he wouldn't have cared but Asher doesn't even like getting his shirt wet with sink water without having to change. So after the 3rd or 4th time of this happening he turns to me and says kinda annoyed, "Uhhh mom!! I keep slobber pooping!!!"
It cracked me up. I sure love that kid.

Earlier that day it was just the opposite. HE wanted me to keep him company while he went poop so I accompanied him to the bathroom and he said, "Oh mom I don't want to poop cause it will hurt." I explained to him that he should go now if he had to cause the longer he held it in the more it would hurt. So he decided that he would go poop. While trying to poop he got tears in his eyes and made the oh crap poop face and sat very still so I asked if he was going poop. He responded, "Yeah, sometimes when it hurts it freezes me."

Sorry bout all the poop talk but it was too funny not to write down, slobber poops...

A funny story...

about some boys and geese...

Two days ago when I went to drop off the older boys at school the big field by the school was filled with about 30 geese. I assume it was because the grass was freshly cut but I'm not sure. So the boys are getting out of the car. I was hurrying them just a bit and reminded them they would need to run to class, we were only a few minutes late but I know my boys and they dawdle. So before jumping out of the car Dallin turns to me and says "what happens if you run at them?" I respond they'll run back and bite you. He got a huge smile. Then jumped out of the van. They walked carefully hand in hand to the sidewalk then stopped. I suspected what was going to happen next so I quickly rolled down the window and said "Get to class!" Dallin looked at the school door, then and the geese, then back at the school door. Thought for a few seconds, let go of his brother's hand and started walking confidently towards the geese. Bryant stayed put not sure what to do he watched Dallin looked and the school then at me because I was yelling "Bryant just go to class!" And then I yelled a little louder from my car, "Dallin go to class!" He responded to my yelling by running toward the geese. That is when Bryant decided that he would join his crazy brother. They chased them here then there. Laughing and having a great time!! That is when I put the car in park. Got out in my pj's, hair all a mess and went and grabbed those naughty boys and ushered them toward the school doors.
I sure love those boys and they are going to make me gray way to early!!!

Well Hello blog world,
It's been a while. I figured since I am now living away from family that I would pick back up on the blogging things again.
So we moved. It has been really nice here. We have some great neighbors. The weather is awesome. when I go to take the boys to school in the morning and it is barely 70 degrees the boys complain that it is sooo cold. They have no idea...
We have been VERY busy trying to make this house OUR home. You know me I love to decorate so it's been killing me to do something. The first morning we were here I started taking off the HORRIBLE wall paper in the kitchen.  My lovely husband came to help.
We worked really hard to get off the 3 layers of wall paper, some probably dated back to the 70's I'm sure!! We also scrapped of the popcorn ceiling, they are throughout the house, huge ugh!!! After load of dust and much frustartion we have a beautiful dining room. We will be refinishing our cabinets sometime but for now they will be just fine. Oh and Corey also built me that beautiful table!!
Here is a closer look at the table. I love it!! We could fit 8 maybe 10 people around it if we needed to. Plus while we were waiting for this table to be completed I bought a card table with 4 chairs so we are well equipped to have company... anyone want to come visit??

So I guess we are loving this new house minus all the things we need to do to it. I am in heaven with the space we have but hate all the spiders it comes with. We have wolf spiders galore.  If I didn't have 4 boys and wasn't used to spiders I would probably be more bothered by them. For now I just step on them of squash them with my broom, I sweep alot!! The other day as the boys and I were racking up leaves we saw one about the size of a ping pong ball. It was the biggest one I have seen yet. Kinda looked like a small tarantula. I just squashed it and the boys told me I should have caught it. I'm better at squashing them then catching them. One bit Charlie the other day on the arm and it looked like he had 2 elbows it was so huge!! This was right after he was just getting over having hand foot and mouth disease. The poor kid hasn't had the best of luck.
The older boys are in their new school. It's all day kinder and it is ALL day. The first day they were in school I didn't know what to do with myself. But now 3:00 comes so fast. They are doing pretty well. Dallin is getting used to the class so he has been showing his true colors and lets just say he had to pick up a barrel full of rocks yesterday to see if he knew had to follow directions. While he was doing that Bryant forgot how to listen and had to pick weeds in the backyard to see if he could follow directions also. Two birds with one stone!! We sure love our boys. They always ask me why I am so mean and why they have to do all the hard stuff. I tell them it builds character and character it something great to have!!
Dallin is big and trying to throw the guilt trip at us right now. He always says... that's just not fair. Why do you get to stay up... why do you get to eat that... why this or that... you always get to do what you want it's no fair. If he only knew what I wanted. I love that kid. I sure hope he grows up and gets a son just like him. I better start taking better notes so I can help his wife out someday. But really I do love that kid a lot!!
Asher is a sweet boy. I feel so bad for him. It sometimes seems like he is the forgotten child. He's not the baby and the older two are so close in age they are almost twins. He's been missing his family back home in AZ a lot and asks to see them often. I need to get him out more so he can meet a friend.

Well, I need to get going but I'm sure I will have more to say later...

Bryant said...

Last night as we were leaving the Birthday Party for the boys Bryant turned to Corey and said, "Daddy, Mommy is delicious!!" Corey said, "Oh yeah why do you think she is delicious?" He said, "Cause I just want to eat her up!!" Too funny!!!

"You're the meanest animal in the world!!"

My eldest son thought it would be fun to poke holes in the tops and sides of 7 juice boxes so I poured them all in a cup and told him he has to drink it all before he gets up from the table. He told me that it's not fair and that I'm not acting like a mom... I'm acting like an animal, the meanest animal in the whole world!!

October 2012

In October we:
Made homemade pizza...

 Yummy!!!
 Decorated for Halloween...
 Caged in the little monsters...
The little man made lots and lots of messes!!!
 and discovered new things...
He must see me do this way to much because a
10 month old should not know how to sweep.
We were giving THE BEST apple in the world and we juiced 90% of
them to make THE BEST apple juice in the world!!!

I bought a cool robot at the thrift store and I knew the boys would LOVE it!!!
And they did!!
Some of my family and I preformed the Thriller dance at the state fair.
That was a blast!!!
I had my very own fan club and I felt like a celebrity!!
There were awesome zombie costumes designed and worn!!
HUGE corn dogs were eaten, or not...
Naps were taken in the wagon at the fair, now that was impressive!!!
All while keeping his eyes open ever so slightly.
This boy thought he was the sheep whisperer...
This boy was happy to just pet the sheep...
and this boy loved the little goats.

This boy is his father's son!! He love airplanes and
motorcycles like nobodies business!!
THe older boys couldn't get enough of the huge slide!!
And this boy is just so stink'n cute!!!
Then there was Halloween and the boys finally had their turn to dress up and paint their faces. They were so excited!!
I could just eat this little guy!!!
That was our October...
