Funny Bryant

Today for their snack I gave the boys cantaloupe. When I handed Bryant his bowl he says,

"Whoa, those are big melons!"

I just had to laugh because I'm immature like that.

Then later... Bryant was trying to tie a rope around his scooter, something my boys LOVE doing, tieing things up, I say to him:

"Wow Bryant you sure like to tie things up huh?!!"

He responds:

"Yeah that's cause I'm a tie-er boy."

Then he says:

"Mom, I'm a boy. You're not a boy. You're a big BIG girl."

How lovely!!!

Yesterday I watched my neighbors kids for her and one thing Asher really loves is their little girl Sedona. HE loves to play with her and chase her and has tons of fun with her. She sure thinks he's pretty awesome too, she kept telling me how much Asher loves her with a huge grin on her face. It was too cute!!

Kitchen Update

Cabinets are in.

Need counter tops, picking those out today probably get them in a week or two.

Finish tile tonight and then

CLEAN, CLEAN, and a little more CLEANING!!!!

Because...

I know someday I will look back at this and laugh I must right it down.

Because today it is not that funny to me.

Today not so much. At least not right now.

I woke up this morning, not so bad, happy to wake up.

Kids are crazy, as usual.

Dog is extra hyper.

Why do Sundays have to be THE WORST DAYS of the week???

I need to plan my lesson for Sunbeams, I know I should have done it sometime in the last two weeks but I was a little distracted with this messy house of mine, I completely forgot.

I've been taking the dog on a walk every morning by myself while Corey is still home in the morning. It works out great. SHe is an amazing dog and just stays right next to me and I love taking her on walks.

Today I hated it.

I had to take the kids with me because Corey was gone.

Not a good idea.

We walked past the neighbors house and their dog started barking at their door so they opened it and let their dog out.

Why??

Daisy got crazy hyper and was running all around.

(I don't have a leash but this hasn't been a problem before she is really good at staying right by me but not today, to many distractions)

I told the boys to get their dog and that we were going on a walk and goodbye...

Then Daisy thought it would be fun to make me look like a fool in front of a bunch of our nieghbors and run around like a razy dog while I tried to chase her. Not a fun thing to do early in the morning in your pj's.

I decided that maybe she doesn't need a walk today and turn around.

Then she decided she would do better so we continued our walk the other direction.

Then we get home and she's more hyper than when we left.

It might have something to do with my children that are chasing her with pillows and swinging at her as I yell at them to STOP TRYING TO HIT HER, LEAVE HER ALONE, PUT THE PILLOWS DOWN, GO TO YOUR ROOMS, LISTEN TO ME, AHHHHH DALLIN, WHY DON"T YOU EVER LISTEN.

Then I very lovingly drag him to his room.

Someday I'll laugh.

It might be when he has kids and doesn't understand why they act the way they do, but I will surely laugh about this someday!!!

Story of my Life

My mom saw this comic in the Sunday paper and had to save it for me. It perfectly discribes my life.

In Case you can't read it I'll tell you what it says:

First box: "Look at your hands, they're filty! March right in there and wash them!"

Last box: "Your hands are still dirty."... "We forgot to wash them."

It still cracks me up, this is exactly my life everyday.

Project Remodel Update

It's starting to drive me very crazy! This whole remodeling thing we are doing? It's been a long 5 weeks of demolition and I have lost all control over my house. Everything is a complete disaster not just the kitchen. This is just a small portion of what it looks like in my home today. At this moment I also had five very hungry kids begging me to feed them, which I was working on but couldn't go fast enough. But it's ok I keep telling myself I am going to have a beautiful kitchen when I am done. I'm sure it will be but until then watch out for this cranky lady!!

On a happier note we started laying tile last night. It is very pretty, much better than the black tar cement stuff we've been living on for the last few weeks.

Funny story:

When my sis in law, Kirsten was married, Camille was taking pictures for her after the temple. In one of the pictures without Camille or the cute couple's knowledge I jumped up in the background. It was an awesome picture, by awesome I mean funny, because as you can tell I look horrible in the picture. But it was very funny so I had to have Camille's photographer take a similar picture for me at her wedding.
