Oh to live the Life, of a Wife, of a Pilot...

Ok so a pilots job is ever changing... One day your here, the next your there. That is obvious, da! But really one day your plans can just change and you'll be on a plane going somewhere else within and hours notice. So we thought Corey was going to be home for the rest of the year, but lo and behold... he is in Denver Col. today. He got a call yesterday at 1:30pm saying that he had to be on a flight that left a 4 pm to Denver. So we busted our butts to get done with our shopping get him home and packed and to the airport by 2:30 pm. We made it and had a very quick goodbye and he was off. So now I am once again without my husband for the time being.

Picnic in the Park!

For our Chirstmas Eve we went to the park to have a picnic and feed the ducks. We had tons of fun and it is so nice to be together as a family!!! Dallin loved the birds and I couldn't get him to look at the camera. Dallin loved the cookies we brought for a treat!! And there were so many birds and ducks!! It was quite scary. I am terrified of geese, probably cause no matter what they always seem to chase ME. Well the goose came up for some bread and I had some sour dough bread taht I was feeding the birds and I gave the goose a HUGE piece to make her happy but I think it did something to her cause she was chasing me and then all of a sudden see ran over to the grass and started eating it a ton and then went over to the water and was drinking a ton of water, and then she took off. Ha that shows her!!

Funny Hat!!!

Christmas came early once again!!

So the only thing I wanted for Christmas was Corey to be home. Well I got my wish. On Sat. He called me to tell me that they have cancelled the sim training until the new year. So on Sun he flew home. That is such a great Christmas present. Probably one of the best!!! After Three days by myself with Dallin and extremely huge from being pregnant, I was ready for a break. Wow!! How do people do this? I really admire the pioneers for all they did! I can't imagine walking across the plains with no husband and my children and being pregnant. They were truly amazing! I just always think about them when I start to think how my life is hard. It really brings things into perspective for me!

Christmas just a little early!

Corey was leaving for Ohio on Dec. 20th so we decided to celebrate Christmas on Dec 19th so he could be there when Dallin opened his Christmas present. We got him a huge monkey that he couldn't live without at the store. It was so cute. However, when he opened it on "Christmas Night" he was afraid of it for a while. He finally opened up to it and now they are the best of friends again. Corey's brother Tyler also brought over Corey's presents which were two web cams. Wow!! that was sure nice of him. Corey was pretty happy with that gift!!!

Temple Lights!

We went to the temple lights the other night with my parents. It was pretty cold that is why Dallin looks like a little burrito. It was lots of fun!!

First Haircut!

We enjoyed giving Dallin his first haircut just about as much as he enjoyed getting it. He loved the cool vibrating thing we kept putting on his head. He would crank his neck as far as it would go to look at it. He looks so cute now!!!

I need help!

If anyone has any good ideas for good quick easy meals for lunch and dinner (mostly lunch) i would love to hear them. I am having the hardest time thinking what to feed Dallin and I for lunch and dinner. I am just to tired to cook anything that takes a long time and makes a lot for just the two of us. So if I could know what everyone else is doing then that would probably help. I am having a pretty hard time with Corey being gone all the time now. I didn't realize how hard it was gonna be. I have NO energy these days and the closer I get to my due date the more scared I get. I thought I would be ok with all this Corey being gone stuff but I'm not so sure anymore. I mean of course I will survive and I'm sure we will all be ok I'm just pretty lonely without my best friend. He has been gone pretty much all the time for the past week and a half with the exception of seeing him a few nights last week when he came home to sleep. He gets done with his FTD training (I know that means nothing to any of you) on wed. Dec 12th and then plans to leave for Florida to study with his sim partner on Sat. Dec 15th and won't be home probably until Jan 1st or 2nd. He has Dec 25th and 26th off but the chances of him making it home for Christmas with all this weather are not likely. So anyways, I just wanted to let everyone know what is going on with us and if anyone has any advice for not going insane from boredom please enlighten me, PLEASE!!!

Our sweet boy!!

These are a few pictures we took of the boy's after we were done taking family pictures. It is so hard to get them to both look at the camera and smile, but I am thinking that is just how it goes. I love this first one of Dallin even though his hand looks pretty funny.

Our Little Family

This is one of the pictures we took when trying to take pictures for our Christmas cards. Dallin is getting so big. I'm just glad Corey could be here to take it with us!

Wow now that's big!!!

My mom wanted to take a picture of me since we don't have many pictures of me with this pregnancy. Now you can clearly see why we don't have many pictures of me. I am huge!!!

Cousins!!!

Here is Dallin and his cousin RJ. They sure have a lot of fun together!!!

My 23rd Birthday!!

I know it's been a while since I posted and my birthday was actually on Nov. 27th but I'm just now getting to posting again. But here are a few pictures from my birthday, Dallin loved helping me celebrate. My brother got me the I love Chicago shirt since he is in Chicago on his mission.
