It is my lucky day!!!

Today I decided I would go out garage sell hunting. And it's a good thing I did because I found some awesome stuff!!Like...

This little beauty!! Only $5 yup I was super excited.
(Size Full)
Along with this little lady, again only $5. I almost jumped for joy I was thrilled.
I can't decided what color to paint them.
(size Full/Queen)
And then last but not least probably my best find of the day.
This gorgeous four poster bed with only a few minor scratches that I could see, with everything to put it together. SOrry it's not put together but when it is I'll post a picture.
Care to take a guess how much?
Well they wanted only $50, but I got it for $35.
Again I almost jumped for joy, I am so excited to see what I can do with these.
(size queen)
Any suggestions on what to paint the first two beds, and what do you think about turning them into benches? What are your thoughts on that?

The Versatile Blogger Award!!

Jen gave me an award, Because she thinks, I'm pretty versatile!

And the 10 questions are:

1. Why did you create your blog?
My SIL told me about blogs in 2007 but I didn't quite understand them, but once I figured them out I was all about it! When we moved to North Caroline it became my life line with family across the country. Now I just enjoy sharing my crazy life with those who'll read, oh and to show my boys someday how wild they were.

2. What kind of blogs do you follow?
I love to read family and friends blogs and I really love crafty DIY blogs!!!
3. Favorite brand of make-up?
I don't really wear a lot of make up and never have. I think I have bought 3 or 4 things of mascara since Corey and I were married. I don't remember the brand but I always by the same kind. As for face make-up I've never worn it and eye shadow I wear once in a while but it's not a particular brand.

4. Favorite brand of clothing?
If I had the money to buy what I wanted I would probably shop at American Eagle and Aeropostal and places like that but I don't so I either shop at Goodwill or Walmart, if I shop which I usually don't.

5. Indispensable make-up product?
Probably mascara. I think if I at least have that on I then I don't look terrible.

6. Favorite color?
-That's a hard one, I guess it's depends on what it's for. for clothing I like pastels and in decor I love warm earth tones.

7. Favorite perfume?
Clineque(?) Happy and Happy Heart, Escada(?) whatever, and right now I have a couple of Guess perfumes that I wear.

8. Favorite movie?
Anything Action packed!! I'm not much of a Chick Flick kinda girl, but I will watch one on occasion, by myself.

9. What country would you like to visit and why?
- I would love to go to Europe and travel.

10. Would you rather forget to put mascara on one eye or forget blush on one side of your face?
Definitely blush

Here are the rules:

1. Thank and link back to the person who gave you the award
2. Answer 10 questions
3. Pass it along to 7 blogs you've recently discovered and enjoy
4. Leave your recipients a note, telling them about the award

The 7 blogs I'm passing this on to in no particular order:

Obsessed!!

So I made another one...
Just in case you were wondering what my cute little angels do while I am sewing...
They make super awesome cushion forts and bounce houses and jump for hours.
Trust me they love the neglect, my house doesn't though.

Because I'm kinda proud...

of myself.
I know it's not a good thing but...
Today I made this and I love it!!
All I need to do is put on a button to finish it.
Do you love it too?
Wouldn't you want one of your very own, let's get together and make more cause I know I will be making more of these babies!!!

Silly things they say...

Dallin says to me, " ohhhh, man, my tummy huuurrrts!!" (no screaming just moaning)

I say, "Oh really I'm sorry, that's no fun."
Dallin, "Yeah it makes me tired, I need to put my tummy to bed."

Catching Up...

Dallin and Bryant's Birthday Party...
We had a Super Hero Birthday Party
for the boys. I made all the party guests their very own
super cape and we played lots of super games.
Spiderman himself was in attendance.
This is the silly cake I made. The frosting I bought to use really quick wasn't that great and the batman kinda ran down the cake, oh well.
Some of the fun decorations. My mom and sister we're awesome and came just in time to help me decorate and get last minute things together.
Like the spiderman that I drew? We played "pin the spider on the man".
Playing outside.
Bryant and Aiden
The Spider Walk
Lots of little ones!!!
Asher recieved his first haircut Jan. 7th. I was trying to grow it out until I had a girl but Corey wasn't having that and that surely wouldn't be fair to Asher.
As you can see he was ready for a haircut!!
I was able to get it into a pony tail first though. So I guess I was a bit satisfied!
The after.
Please don't mind that chubby lady!
Handsome!!!
Since all the boys birthday's are within weeks of each other we celebrate for about a month. It's kinda ridiculous and I have to figure something out but this was another birthday trip!
I really wanted to go to Organ Stop Pizza so we had my family all get together and we made it a date!!
Terrible picture of the boys but proof we were there.
Then for Valentine's Day I made reservations at Chick-fil-A. We were waited on and had a great meal and a reduced price I believe. After we were done with dinner they served us brownies and ice cream and delicious chocolate covered strawberries.
Asher
Dallin and Bryant
Mommy, we would have taken a picture of Daddy but he was running late and only joined us for the last half of dinner.
The boys weren't sure how to behave on our date so they made us cut it short without any playing time.
Dallin had his four year old well check up this past week and Asher came along too.
So this past month all the boys have had their doctor appointments and their stats are:
Dallin: 3ft 4in. and 32lbs.
Bryant: 3ft 3 in. and 32lbs
Asher: 2ft 7in. and 22.8lbs

Dallin being the crazy kid he is!!
Some friends in our ward have kids that have outgrown this awesome play set so they offered it to us. We took it down from their yard and gave it a fresh coat of sealer and put it back (which was no easy feat since the thing is EXTREMELY heavy!!) up for the boys to love and enjoy, which they really do!!!

Jury Duty

Yesterday I had Jury Duty.
I went like a good citizen, with hopes that I would be released early!!
No such luck, nope...
When I got to the court house after getting a little lost in downtown Phoenix, I went through security. Anyways, I had to be there at 8:30 which meant I had no time in the morning to eat breakfast. I was a little hungry and to make matters worse the place had an awful smell. I felt so sick the whole time I was there. It smelt kind of like an airplane, and I pretty much always throw up, or I'm on the verge of throwing up on airplanes. Anyways...
I was called in on the 4th or 5th round of Jurors for a trial. We were told to go up to the 11th floor, on the elevator, yuck I don't really like elevators especially when I feel like throwing up already, where they started in on the process of elimination. I made it through the first elimination then they released us for lunch. I had to take the elevator down 11 floors. That is 10 other chances that people can stop my elevator and get on making the whole yucky process longer. After lunch I felt a tiny bit better but then I returned to the stinky building and in the nasty elevator and all the sick feelings came back. I almost lost my lunch. After we went back into the court room and started the eliminating process again I was one of the lucky ones that made it to the very last elimination and then was released and told I was no longer needed. After it was all over and I felt horrible I decided I would find the stairs and take them down for fear that I would be throwing up on everyone in the elevator on the way down, not a very good way to end the day, no!!! So I looked at a map by the elevator which showed where the stairs were, it also said "take stairs in case of an emergency". Another guy saw my plan and decided he would join me. He had forgotten that we were on the 11th floor until we started heading down. It was a little better than the elevator and I could use the exercise anyways. When we reached the 1st floor the door had a huge red sign on it that said, "DO NOT OPEN. EMERGENCY DOOR ONLY ALARM WILL SOUND". We both laughed and thought it was a little silly but headed up to the 2nd floor. There wasn't a sign on this door so we proceeded to try open it. This door was locked. We checked every door on our way back up. We climbed 9 floors before we found a door that wasn't locked. I was completely out of breath and had been a little worried I was going to be trapped in the stairway with this guy and that no one was going to be able to hear us pounding on the doors to get out (the stairway was a little bit away from everything and down in the long hallway, a very unlikely place for anyone to go, apparently because all the doors were locked I guess they assume no one would prefer to take the stairs). We finally got out and ended up having to take the elevator anyways. When we got on to the elevator some other guy got on with us and I thought I would tell him,
"By the way, don't take the stairs, they lock the inside doors."

Oh My Goodness...

I think my kids might be starting to figure it all, ok well not all, but figure some of it out.
Last night after FHE we let the boys watch a movie in the play room and while they were watching they made a pretty big mess with some of their toys. Corey may or may not have said something to then about it, I'm really not sure about that but when the movie was over and we were getting ready to put them to bed both boys came out and said there we cleaned it all up, and by golly, they did!! I was in utter shock. I couldn't believe it. They even put the kitchen stuff back in the right bin on the right shelf. Oh..my...goodness, it is paying off.

Freak'n-A

One of my biggest pet-peeves(?) is a pee smeeling bathroom. I hate it.
Now I don't really care if your bathroom smells like pee, it's still kinda gross but not nearly as bother some to me as if my bathroom smells like pee.
Now I have 3 BOYS in the house that pee in the toilet. One is an experienced potty goer so he is not the problem. (Or is he??) But the other two little men in this house are not so experienced and therefore I find that my bathroom really wants to smell like pee, A LOT.
I HATE IT!!!
I scrub my bathroom, like really scrub, I get the bleach out and clean the bathroom and that includes a good foot and a half perimeter around the toilet (walls, floor, tub and toilet). I do this at least two or threes time a week.
I have tried to train them to sit when they pee that usually helps but not always. I think they find it powerful or manly to stand. I find it super annoying.
I just got done scrubing my bathroom this morning and I have already wiped the toilet down two times in the last couple hours.
Don't get me wrong it's better then wiping their bottoms and I do enjoy the smell of bleach, weird I know, but could it just stay clean for a day? Please!!!
