Nesting...

I am due in about 2 weeks and I am feeling the need to clean my house from top to bottom.
I have been a MAJOR slacker when it comes to keeping up on my household chores.
It's hard to keep up these days, and my boys don't make it any easier when they constantly make messes. So today I am going to catch up on the mountain of laundry in my bedroom, I'm going to clean the bathrooms, and the bedrooms, do the dishes and hopefully I'll feel a little better about my house and then hopefully I'll go into labor and it won't get messed up cause we'll all be gone. Ha, that's not gonna happen but a girl can hope right?!!
Tomorrow I'll get the car ready.

Paint...

Today my boys were feeling the need to paint so I went ahead and let them go for it.
I got them their paint, the water, a paper towel and a piece of paper each.
Asher chose to paint himself instead...
All the boys
Dallin painted his cup of water...
Bryant did really well on his piece of paper, then he decided to paint his cup as well.
After they were all done they jumped in the bath and cleaned off!!
Oh I love these boys!!!

Black Friday...

I was planning on heading over to the crazy wally-world last night to pick up a few bikes for my boys. That was what Santa told me to get them and it was a great deal, to good to pass!!
Right before leaving my house I got a text from my mother saying:
I'm at Walmart in line to get the boys bikes
She had read my mind.
Although, I knew the craziness of Walmart on Black Friday so I headed down there to help her out.
I'm pretty much done now with our families Christmas shopping now.
After getting home from Walmart, I went to bed and got up early this morning to head over to Joann's to pick up the Cricut my mom was buying me for my Birthday/Christmas. I'm very excited to get to use that also!!!
We just need to get extended family done and we will be completely done for the year, yea!!!

Bryant says...

This morning while my boys and I lay in my bed trying to get up Bryant turns to me and says,
"Mommy, I don't want a baby boy, I want a baby girl."
Me- "Sorry Bryant, but mommy has a baby boy in her tummy."
B- "Well, I don't want a boy I want a girl baby, not the kind with long hair, just the one with short hair that sticks up."
I had to laugh!!!!

My Day Off...

Well my husband ordered me out of the house yesterday and told me not to come home until it was dinner time. He had even arranged for my mother to come pick me up and take me away.
He told me that it was mandatory that I take a day to relax and that he would hold down the fort while I was away. So my mom came and picked me up and he handed me some money and said have fun.
Man I loved it!!!!
First my mom and I headed out to lunch and enjoyed just hanging out together for a while. Then she droped me off at the nail salon so I could get my much needed pedicure, that is what the money was for. She had some shopping to do so she left me and I enjoyed the peace and quiet while I was pampered!! I took the Ensign with me to get a little spiritual enlightenment and I read the talk on Children. I love that talk!!! I listened to it like 3 times during conference while watching it online and got the same good feelings reading it!! I love the line,

"To a righteous father, there are no words sufficient to express the gratitude and love he feels for his wife's incalculable gift of bearing and caring for their children."

Every time I heard that or even read it I get teary eyed.

After I was done getting my nails done we headed back to my mom's house and I enjoyed just hanging out with no responsibilities.
Later she took me home and I was so happy to come home to a clean house, a husband that had take our three kids to the store by himself to get things for dinner and the same dinner he later prepared for the missionaries that we fed last night. He cleaned up dinner took care of the kids got them ready for bed and gave me a back massage.
It was a wonderful day and I felt so great!! My body was very relaxed and I was kinda thinking maybe this end of the pregnancy stuff isn't so bad!!
He spoiled me very well and I am so grateful for it!!
Blue nails for the boys!!

New Diaper Bag

Today I made the new diaper bag I've been wanting to make for months now.
I wish that I HAD made it months ago, because sewing for hours really hurts my big pregnant body. And now my house is a terrible mess and my big pregnant body has to clean it up.
So much for relaxing, but I did get the bag done before the baby so now I can take it with me to the hospital, in four long weeks.
Outside of bag, front.
Front of bag under front flap, two pockets.
Back of bag, another pocket, a zipper pocket.
Inside of bag, four more elastic pockets.
There are also 2 pockets on the sides of the bag.
I love the fabric and I think the bag is great only if I were to do it over again I would use canvas type fabric, a thicker stronger fabric, this one is just cotton and kinda floppy, I even used interfacing. Maybe after I fill it up it will be better.

Now I'm off to clean up the house with my sore body. I am definitely relaxing tomorrow!!!

Baby Boy...

I am so incredibly grateful for this little baby growing in my belly.
I'm pretty sure he is ready to come out as much as I am ready for him to be out. He is super active and has been practicing his ninja moves to prepare himself for his active brothers once he gets out. I think that all his kick has something to do with his frustration of his brother clobbering his mother constantly and he is stink'n tired of it!!! Guess who's more tired of all the fighting going on, me!!!
I am big and really really sore and my bones ache every day and then they take it to a whole new level at night. It takes me a good minute to get out of bed, every time I have to get out of bed, which is like at least 4-5 times a night to pee. Then after I'm out of bed my bones crack and pop and grind and I wobble to the bathroom like and 80 year old women with arthritis.
Corey feels bad for me and has told me that it is my job for the next few week to seriously take it easy and RELAX!! I told him I would try my hardest. Which isn't easy at all for me to just sit and relax but I know I need to.
I also fear that this little bundle is going to be my biggest baby yet, although I hope with all my might that I am way wrong!!
Asher, my last baby was 9lbs 7oz. and they have all gotten bigger by a pound every time so hopefully I'm wrong about this one!!
I like listening to Christmas music right now and I would listen to it every minute of the day if the rest of my family didn't care, but they do. It just means to me that Christmas is getting closer and I should have a baby in my arms on Christmas morning.

As much as I hurt and get frustrated and cry about my ever expanding and stretching body, I do love the bond that baby boy and I have and I cherish the moments that just we have for now. It is a magical and wonderful thing to have a baby and I am truly blessed to be able to have my children. I do look forward to holding him in my arms and kissing his soft soft skin!! But until then I will try to relax and enjoy these last few weeks.

Ego

Man with four, soon to be five boys in my house my ego is gonna go through the roof.

They were all helping me get ready this morning for church, brushing my hair, saying that they could put my make-up on for me and Bryant said this,

"Mom, your eye's arent pretty yet..."

This was a true statement since I had big black circles under my eyes from the mascara I wore the day before.

He starts to open my contact case for me and says,

"Mom here you should wear these they make your eyes pretty, they're like little jewels!"

After I was all ready for church they all told me I was beautiful, even as simple as I looked.

Yeah I'm not sure my head is going to fit through the door to get to church now!!!

Happy Veterans Day

Today I decided that it would be a great day to take pictures of my boys. My wonderful Sis-in-law came over and let me use her camera since mine was not working and this is what we got. Not bad!!
I love the red white and blue, probably my favorite colors ever!!

Cats vs Dogs

Today while driving down the street in our car, Bryant saw a small dog in the middle of the road.
He yells at me, "Mom, watch out, watch out!"
I can see him in the rear view mirror looking at the dog.
As we come closer to it and Dallin and Bryant both see that it is a dog, Dallin says,
"Oh Bryant, it's JUST a dog!"
Bryant then replied,
"Oh, never mind mom, I was just kidding, I thought it was a cat!!!'
I had to laugh!!

My Lil' Turkeys

Yes, my lil' turkeys, made their own lil' turkeys.
Bryants
Dallin's
This was taken while he was still putting his turkey together.
Asher wasn't very interested so I made his for him.

Monday FHE

Yesterday I was talking to the boys about going to see the snow this year and they were getting pretty excited. Once Corey got home I told the boys to go talk to Daddy about going to see the snow. Big mistake!! Corey's response, "Let's Go!!!"
So we loaded up and headed to Mt. Ord, a place Corey said he has been wanting to go see for a while. It is about half way between Mesa and Payson. I was all go until we reached Mt. Ord.
It was a very high mountain and it had a one lane dirt road, make that a one lane, wet, slushy snowy, steep cliffs on both sides of the road, narrow dirt road. I was FREAKING out. Corey looked over at me and I was gripping the door, the seat and crying because I was so scared! He burst into laughter. I didn't think it was very funny I wanted nothing to do with Mt. Ord at the moment, I thought it might put me into early labor. Finally I convinced him to stop and turn around at the widest part of the road. This is also the place we decided to stop and play for a while. The boys had a blast and after we were off Mt. Ord I was happy too!!

It was beautiful and I did enjoy seeing my boys have a lot of fun together!!
Daddy, Dallin and Bryant
They raced up the road, it was really cute when they were running back down and Bryant totally slipped and fell and bounced right back up and kept running.
Mommy and Asher
Building a snowman
All done!!

Snowball Fight!!!
Corey is about to throw that snowball at Bryant's head...
If you look close you can see the snowball that hit Bryant's head a second after this picture was taken.
More fighting!!
Running from Daddy
Hiding from Daddy
Asher wasn't sure what to think about the snow but he got used to it and started to have a little fun by the time we left.
Overall it was a good trip and Corey thanked me as we left. I asked him if he was thankful for the snow trip or the really good laugh I gave him when he saw me scared out of my pants. He said both.

Projects, Before and After

My husband got a new position at work and it is so wonderful!! He has weekends off now and I have been taking advantage of him!!
This past weekend we
-Took a load to the dump
-He fixed "another thing" on his motorcycle (he needs a new bike)
-Cleaned up the yards
-Cleaned the house
-He climbed out huge pine tree to figure out how we will get rid of our lovely huge bee hive growing in it.
-And he helped me do a few of my own selfish projects.
My grandparents gave me this super cute old rocking chair for the front of my house. I love it so much however the old funky, yet cool fabric had seen better days. So I took it apart and recovered it with some more cute fabric and I love the result!!
Before:
After:
Saturday night I made these cute curtains. Only took me an hour. I love them!!
On Friday while my sister in law watched my boys for me I made these cute flower things for my picture frames in the kitchen. I have had the stuff to make them for a long time and now finally they are done!

I still have a few things on my to do list but I feel very good about all the things we got done on Saturday!!!

What the .....

Why do they feel the need to do things like this??
Seriously what the heck is wrong with them???
I only took pictures so that someday I can look back and laugh.
Right now I'm trying to relax, breath Kari, breath!!!
