SuMmEr TiMe!!!

We like to spend our days outside enjoying yummy popsicles!!
Oh yeah, it's cold but oh so good!!
Cute Kiddos!!
Sharing is Caring!!
and then they traded.

Then the other night at my sis-in-laws she was baby sitting this little boy and Bryant was just loving on him. He is very into babies right now and was giving him lots of kisses. I was able to capture a couple.
This one is a little to graphic but I thought it was pretty funny.
He's a great kiss giver if anyone ever needs a kiss!
Then today while I was trying to catch up on some neglected house work the boys were playing outside (not in the water) but when I went to check on them they were both diaperless and had poopy butts. I cleaned the diapers up wiped them down and decided to give them a bath cause they were completely dirty. But if you read the post from yesterday you know that my tub is out of commission and so I resorted to the old fashioned bath in a bucket type deal. Yes it was cold, but the boys loved it none the less. The spout actually made the bubbles so much more fun to play in. I think we will take more baths outside. I enjoyed watching them play in it too!!

One tough Morning!!

Well I woke up this morning excited to fix the leak in our hall bathroom.

I was fed up with the constant sound of running water and the once ok drip that turned into a pretty descent stream of water. I texted Corey last night knowing he was asleep not wanting to really wake him and told him I was done with the leak and wanted it fixed. It wasn't that it was just an annoying sound, cause I often am ok with listening to annoying sounds! It was mostly that that sound, sounded to me like money going down the drain, it was very hard to listen to and it got the best of me this morning!! I woke up this morning to a text from my loving and very "confident in me" husband saying that he thought it sounded like a good project for me to work on today. I took him seriously and felt more inspired to fixed than before. I texted him and asked where I should start looking. I was ready to tear out the wall, do what ever it took to fix this horrible money sucking problem! Well I think there used to be a leak before we bought the house cause there is a vent over in the hall right where the tub is, so I started by taking that off. I was happy to not see the interior of the wall filled with water, to be honest I was a little worried about that. Well since I didn't see water and I couldn't really get to the problem from this hole I decided to go into the bathroom to take apart the tub parts (not sure what they are really called). After struggling with that for a while I checked on the boys to find them putting the milk from their cups in the open hole into the wall. So no water in there only yucky milk!! Great, I went back into the bathroom to continue my quest to fix the leak and realized it might be smart to turn off the water. So outside I went to turn the water off. Good got that done, back inside, worked on the tub a bit more, turned around and found Dallin pouring out the shampoo all over the floor. After some bad discipline by mommy, and me feeling kinda, well really guilty that I handled it terribly we hugged for quite a while. Feeling that he had learned his lesson I went to get my phone to call my wonderful husband, the one that had so much confidence in me, and told him of my attempt and my complete wates of time! He told me he was only kidding about me doing that today but that he was proud of me for trying. At this point I thought, "hum the boys are being really quiet and that isn't a good sign" so I went to check on them only to find that they had taken the conditioner bottle this time and dumped it out all over the bathroom floor! Ahhh!!! I was so mad, but I handled this one a lot better, both boys went in their room for quite a while. I went outside to try and turn on the water and it wouldn't budge! Not a single inch. I called Corey again, crying this time that now I couldn't turn the water back on, I hadn't fixed a dang thing and I now have a huge mess to clean up. He suggested that I take his wrench, the one with the orange handles, out and try and turn the water back on. I listened and tried. I tried really hard. SO hard that while I was trying the orange handled wrench slipped off the nob and hit me smack dab in the middle of my forehead REALLY hard. I continued on despite the bounding headache I had and finally got it to budge. It clicked a few time and turned really easily but no water still. I turned and turned and turned it and still now water. So AGAIN I called Corey and told him of my headache and how the nob turns but we have no water. He said I probably stripped it and so that means no water. So what have I accomplished this morning...
Sour milk in my wall
No handles on the tub
shampoo and conditioner all over my bathroom
no water
bump and bruise on my head
guilty parenting skills
messes all over my house from neglecting my children
and absolutely nothing fixed!!
My sister in law, great lady that she is called a plummer for me since I was to emotional to do it myself. So hopefully I will at least have some water by this afternoon. I desperately need a shower!!!

This is for you Babe!!!

Rambo/Bryant
The other day Corey and I were cleaning, well trying to clean up the back yard and I found some snails. I didn't even think those things were around anymore, but I found some and had fun watching the boys discover their neatness.
Getting closer, I was amazed at how well they waited for the slow thing to come out of its shell and start moving.
and the race is on...
getting down for a closer look, I sure love these boys!!!
Then I made some brownies the other day and decided to let Bryant lick the bowl after I had discovered...
Dallin had already stolen the mixers and had a very guilty look on his face.
This is just to cute if you ask me, Corey will tell you I'm raising streakers. He says they're gonna do this when they're 16 too, I don't agree, it's fun to run around naked sometimes, ok maybe they will when they're 16? Oh no, ok I better stop.
But I do love how they are riding their bikes like it's totally normal!!
This is how the stripping began anyhow.
They LOVE LOVE LOVE to play in the water outside!!!
Then the other day I was feeling a little under appreciated so I made Bryant put on my red high heels...
and fold some laundry, just to get a good feel for what I have to do on a daily basis.
It wasn't all that easy he found out, being a mom is tough work!!!
No but really, in all seriousness, which I'm usually not, he absolutely loves these silly red high heels I had to wear for my sisters wedding. He gets them out from time to time and just struts his stuff around the house. I think he is actually better at walking in them than I am. It's kinda scary, I think I will hide those shoes!!!

Quick Update...

Well for the past month or so I haven't been able to find my camera charger so I haven't had a camera pretty much. I have borrowed a couple cameras from people and that is how I have taken some of my pictures. I love digital and memory cards!!!Anyways This is what we have been up to the last few weeks.
One day the boys were playing outside while I was doing some house chores. When I looked out the back door this is how I found my 2 lovely children. It might make some of you sick but come on it just dirt, at least that's what I think it is???
I kept telling them that what they were doing was very gross but they could care less, I guess the glass tasted especially good that day!!! Maybe it was the cacker Dallin has in his mouth???
Then Dallin and Bryant have taken a huge liking to our motor cycle helmet. This is Dallin watching a movie wearing my pink helmet. It was so funny he kept falling asleep and his head would totally jerk to the side or forward.
Oh Dallin...
Please don't mind my super messy house.
The boys were having fun and that's all that matters!!!
Then this morning I made some super yummy Texas French Toast and Buttermilk syrup and whipped cream on top!!!! I got the recipe off my friends blog. Jen this was so delicious!!!
The boys really loved it!!

Then today Corey and I worked like mad dogs getting things done we've been wanting to do for awhile.
I made this cool head board to match my curtains that I have in my room. I also dyed my sheets and duvet cover brown. They didn't turn out as dark as I was wanting so I'm gonna try it again, but you get the idea!!
Then a couple weeks ago Corey had a whole week off and during that time he built me and armoire for the computer. He did an amazing job. We just finished putting the doors on tonight so now I can finally reveal it all finished.
Don't mind the mess again, I'm really not that big of a slob! Just sometimes...
Oh all the wires at the bottom are from the laundry room which we also cleaned up today and organized, see we aren't slobs!!!
Here it is with the doors closed. He built this thing from complete scratch. Even the doors he pieced together, I am just to impressed with this wood working abilities!! That's my man!!!

What a Day!!!

Just got back from a day on the river!!! It was so much fun!! Corey, the boys and I floated in the raft boat we have while my sister in law, Kirsten followed behind us in the tube. Sorry I didn't get any pictures, camera battery is dead, plus I'm not so sure I would have taken it, be that we were floating in the water and all!!! Oh but for any of you that are considering this fun family event I totally suggest it, it was a blast!!! (although I am quite fried now)

Mother's Day...

Now if my boys could say Happy and Day they would say to me today:
Dallin- Happy MaMe(in a french kinda way) Day
Bryant- Happy Mabee Day
Oh what sweet boys I have!! This morning we spent some quality time in Mabee's bed. It was lots of fun. Now today they will behave like never before, they will be on their best behavior and do everything I say. They won't fight, not even once, not even a little. Well in a perfect world maybe but I'm sure glad to have them even if Bryant has decided today will be the day he is going to cry all dang day long, he's doing a pretty good job!! Dallin has been a little nice, he didn't smear his breakfast all over the table this morning which is a usual for him. I love them so much and I'm grateful to be their mother and friend, I look forward to the many years we have together!!!
Here is a tribute to my lovely mother-in-law. Since she doesn't have any daughters old enough, or married enough to get into the blogging world just yet I thought I would take this opportunity to tell her what a wonderful lady I think she is. She is so kind, soft spoken, loving and patient!! She has and is still in the process of raising 10 children and has done a fabulous job I must say. We love you tons Grandma Whiting!!!

And now for my wonderful Mama!!
Oh how I love you mommy dear!! You are one of my favorite people in this world. You are one of the most giving people I know. You are a great Grammy and I love that my boys get to see you so often. Thanks for being my friend. You're are so kind and giving and I hope to be like that to, thanks for the great example. We are all lucky to have you in our loves!!
Love ya tons and bunches!!!

Heros and Dress Up

Today while I was cleaning up the front yard and porch I found a gecko, which my boys and nephew had a great time chasing. My nephew insisted on calling it a geico, like the insurance. It was found behind the trash can so when I had gotten back from getting the camera I found the recycle bin knocked over and 3 boys busy looking for a lizard!!!
This is a picture of the poor thing.
Here are the boys looking for the gecko.
still looking...
Mom came to the rescue (for the boys, not the gecko)
Here they are all looking at it in the tub after it was caught. I told them I didn't really want it in the house cause I didn't want it to get out in there. Corey said it wasn't a big deal, so I gave up that fight... and now I have a "geico" living somewhere in my house, how wonderful!!!
Then tonight at my parents my nephew was dressing up as batman and Bryant wanted to dress up also. Well all the dress up clothes are just a little too big for him right now so he brought me this huge outfit to put on him and I just tied it around his neck and he thought he was the coolest thing in the world!! I'm so happy he is easily pleased (most the time)!! He found this fireman hat also and wanted to wear it. It was so funny to not take a picture of it!! I hope you all get a laugh at these photos cause I was laughing taking them!!!
Getting into trouble!!!
