Tons to do...

I need to cut this little guys hair...

Frost the wedding cake, not this one, I'll do this one tomorrow, but the one just smaller than this one that is in the freezer at the moment waiting for me to be motivated to frost it.

I need to sew these two ribbons together so that they can go on the cake tomorrow when I'm finishing decorating it.

I need to give this little guy and his brother's a bath tonight so they can be "somewhat" clean for the wedding reception tomorrow.

I also need to clean my kitchen, before said frosting gets done, no one likes to make a cake mess in an already messy kitchen, and man that sink of mine L-O-V-E-S dished I can't seem to get them to stay out of there. They just keep piling up.

I need to catch up on laundry, I'm pretty sure there are clothes that we need to wear tomorrow that are in the dirty clothes pile. SO I guess I'll do that too.

And the kis are kinda be cranky criers and not happy helpers, and they all took late naps so it's gonna be a long night.

Luckily I got a late nap too.

Pause for a moment, Asher just brought me an almost entire roll of toilet paper, unrolled.

Wonderful.

Oh my goodness...

Long time since I've posted. Nothing very exciting to post about I guess.

I feel like MAJOR crap today. I've pretty much just sat all day and slept a little while my hun tended to the children. Now I need to get my act together because he just left for work and I'm on my own till he returns way, way later tonight. Plus I need to clean this place up so I can make a wedding cake. Oh boy, does anyone have a quick cure for sleepy/sick/groggy/headache type symptoms?

That's it!!!

My house is getting a serious smack down today.

Clean all day and I'm not stopping til I'm satisfied.

This was all made possible by my lovely husband who is brave enough to take the 2 older sons and dog on a camping trip.

Thank you so much hunny our house and my sanity need it sososososos bad!!!

Cabin Fever

When my husband has days off he tends to get a bit sick.

Not a real "normal" sick but a cabin fever sick.

He feels like he should be doing something great and wonderful on his days off.

I'm all for great and wonderful fun things but I am also all for getting the things done that NEED to get done, like cleaning my house.

He's been telling me how much he wants to go do something for like the last year.

I kept telling him uesterday when he was sitting on the couch looking sad that he wasn't doing anything, "well you know you could always help me clean the house that would be really nice and give you something to do."

He looked at me like I was nuts.

Finally he thought of something he wanted to do.

Go float down the river.

I think that would be fun but not to leave the house at 4pm to go do it and I'm not really thrilled about taking our 3 babies.

SO I kinda put that thought to an end. He told me that there wasn't much we needed to do to go to the river jut throw the life vests and raft in the back of the car.

I said no.

THen he called my dad and asked if we could use his boat to go to the lake.

I was fine with that.

So we headed to Canyon Lake.

I love Canyon lake it is so beautiful and it turned out to be a really nice family trip.

It was a bit cold and me and the boys stayed bundled up under the towels but we all had a great time.

The boys got brave and wanted to go in the lake. I told Bryant it was really cold and he said he liked it cold. THey got on the edge and Corey threw them in. Their faces were priceless. I felt so bad for them I don't think they were expecting it to be that cold. Then Corey who had said he would go in with them wasn't sure if he wantedto go in anymore and I told him he was the meanest person ever and I wished that I was strong enough to push him in right then.

But their faces look like they still enjoyed it.

Finally after much harassing I got Corey to jump in.

We finally got home around 8:30 and we had dinner and went to bed. It was a nice night.

(I did sweep and mop and vacuum before I left, I had to do something responsible!)

Please will someone invent a air freshener spray type thing that smells of:

Chlorine Bleach

Call me crazy if you want but I LOVE the smell of bleach. I would wash everything in it if it wouldn't ruin everything.

I would really only use it once in a while, hahaha.

I mean like the times when I just get done scrubbing my bathroom with bleach and I walk away happy about how it looks and smells and then 10 min.'s later I walk by and my boys are both naked in there with poop on the toilet and it reaks a royal stench and they ask ME to wipe their bottoms because their last 5 attempts ended in failure.

Or when I have been just to dang tired to do my dishes, only from one night ago but my sink smells terrible, almost vomit inducing and I just want a quick spray of something to cover it up while I work on getting the dishes done.

And I guess I might use it here and there a bit just because I might like it.

Will someone please invent it for me??!!

Before I forget..

Tonight after I put Asher down for bed I came out to the living room to clean up the blocks that were throw all about the floor.

As I was cleaning, Bryant got off the couch he was on to watch the movie that was on, and just started helping me clean up blocks. I didn't ask, he just did it by noticing and helping.

It melted my heart!!!

He says to me,

"Mom, I'm helping you clean up the blocks, cause its a big job and it's hard."

He wasn't even the one that played with the blocks.

Really who is that kid? Oh how I love those little tender moments that remind me why I love them so very very much.

It was a great early mother's day gift for sure!!!

Hulk, Spiderman...

Which ever he feels like being during the day.

He prefers Spider man but Spidy was dirty this afternoon so he went for the Hulk.

It cracks me up.

Lately he has been putting his clothes on over his costume and goes about his day normally. I don't quite understand why he does it, I mean it is incredibly hot here in Arizona but he insists. And usually it is pants and long sleeves. Today I put my foot down and said "NO you will not be allowed to wear your super costume with this sweater and pants over it, NO!!"

He is a nut.

When he is wearing spider man and all clothed he will come up to me and say, this cracks me up I'm laughing as I type this,

"Mom sing to me the spider man song."

SO I start singing, spider man spider man, does what ever a spider can, etc...

I usually have to sing it 3 times and while I am singing he is taking his clothes off to reveal that he is indeed spider man.

Oh how I love this kid, I do worry a tiny bit about his identity issues, will they get better?

Kitchen Reveal

I found my camera so I decided even though it's not COMPLETELY done I would do the reveal because I'm just that happy with it!!!

Let me remind you of the before:

There was a wall between the kitchen and living room, not a big deal but the living room was so so small and I hated it so we opened that up.

Before old white stinky cabinets that were disgusting and smelt bad when I would get my dishes out of them. Don't let the picture fool you they were gross!!!

After:

Much more open.

Repainted, I did have a hard time getting rid of my red because I LOVE red, but it just didn't go with the color of the cabinets.

No more wall.

A closer look. We did so much work, we took out the saufet(?) the small wall above the old cabinets, we took out the wall, took out the floor, pretty much everything. Then we did most things our selves to put it back together. The only thing we didn't do was the cabinets and countertops. We did the backslpash and tile. Corey is amazing and did all the electricity and I even have outlets on both sides of the island. I love it!!

I still need to make curtains and covers for the stools and touch up a few spots with paint.

I'm so happy to have a kitchen again.
