Easiest Tag Ever, like Jen says...

Well I couldn't decide...
I have two different picture files and so I did both the forth file and forth picture.
This one is of Dallin when he was about 7 months old eating.

Then this one is from my other picture file. I couldn't choose just one because this one is such a wonderful moment for my incredible mother-in-law. I swear I probably have the best in-laws!! She is a great lady and I sure look up to her. This was the day she graduated from college back in May 2007. I'm sure proud of her. She raised 10 children and then after most of them were gone she got to do school for herself. Way to go mom, we sure love ya!!!

Now for any of you out there that would like to do this one, it's pretty fun.
All you have to do is go to your picture file, hopefully you only have one...
Go to the forth file and get the forth picture and write a brief description about it.

Brrrrrrr....

Well the weather sure is changing around here. I think right now it is as cold as AZ gets at all. It is pretty neat to walk outside at noon and need a sweater if not a nice coat. I took the boys on a walk the other day and bundled them up and they had really red noses when we got done. It reminds me a lot of when i played soccer in high school and it was so cold out when we would play our games. I love it!! You know when you are outside and running and you get the burning feeling in your lungs cause its so cold out, yeah pretty awesome!! Anyways I just thought I would update ya'll on what we have been up to lately. Well...
Last Saturday I took the boys to the mall for a fun family night, minus daddy. Maybe we should call it Mommy/Son Night. I know how much Dallin loves to play on the arcade cars things at the mall so we went and had dinner by the carousal, we didn't have enough money to actually ride the thing but Dallin was happy to just watch it go around. Then we headed over to the race arcade area and Dallin went from car to car "playing" on them and it was fun to see how much fun he could have. He played for about an hour and then I was ready to go so we went the the kid play place where after seeing the train that takes kids on rides around the mall, which we also didn't have money to ride, he threw a huge tantrum, I don't like those terrible twos. So we packed up and headed home. It was altogether a pretty good night. And for only $7 (dinner).

This was the sunset on our way to the mall that night, this picture is not even close to how pretty it actually was!

Then on Monday we went to visit our friend Arrie at the nursing home again. I noticed on the calender at church that it was her birthday so I told Corey we were going to visit her again. She was so happy to see us and we walked around with her for about an hour. Some of the nurses came and talked to us and I told them it was her birthday and they were surprised. Turned out they were actually having their monthly birthday party for the October birthdays that very day. I was so happy that she was going to get to celebrate it on her actual birthday.
Dallin found a cat outside and had to give it hugs, he absolutely LOVES cats. I think we might just have to get one someday, maybe when we have a house.
He also saw a bird and loved it too, not as much as the cat but... He actually can say bird.
Then for the last thing...
We broke down and gave the boys hair cuts. Ok, Dallin has actually had a few hair cuts but Bryant received his first hair cut ever. I was said to see it go but he sure does look mighty cute with it all gone.

New Projects, I love um!!!

Thanks to my good friend Becky, who has the most creative ideas, I made this cute elephant. She got the pattern out of a book she checked out in the library and we both absolutely love it!!. I so badly wanted to make it last night so after all the boys went to bed, including Corey, I stayed up made the elephant rotated laundry so Corey could have clean clothes for his going on 4th day of 6 day trip, and watch the office (baby boys were actually still awake at that time) and watched ER. I'm pretty excited about the elephant though. I still need to perfect it but since it was my first one and all I had was a pattern and no directions I think it turned out pretty well. Thanks Becky for showing me the importance of needles!!

Angel Babies

My Dallin Baby and Bryant Dear...

I just have to say I am so incredibly grateful to be a mother. There is no greater job that that of a mother.

I have just been so amazed at my beautiful children lately. I'm so glad that they are such wonderful boys. I'm glad that Heavenly Father blessed me and trusts me to raise these angels. I love their sweet smiles, their super soft kissable skin. I love how they play together so well. I love when they can just sit there and laugh at each other forever, about nothing but the others silly laugh. I love that when I look at them I can see there wonderful father. I love when I look at them I see the huge amount of love they have for me, an enormous amount of trust and security. I love that they feel safe with me and that I can fix their problems, for now anyways. I'm so glad that they are here and well, that they healthy beautiful spirits that teach me so much. I'm glad that they inspire me to be a much better person. I want to be patient and kind and loving always for them. I'm glad that they help me to grow and to become the person I have always wanted to be. They are so special and I'm glad that they are mine!!

I just Have to say...

I'm SO Stinking tired of the Election!!!
Ok, I know that is a really bold statement and I apologize to all you political fanatics out there but come on already... I am so tired of all the negative things being said about the opposing candidate. You can't watch one half hour show (I know I probably shouldn't be watching tv anyways) but in one half hour all I heard was they did this horrible, and so and so did this wrong. I'm very sick of everything that people are doing wrong and would love to hear how they'll make it better. For every good commercial there are 10 bad ones. The manipulate speech's so that these people who probably have good intentions sound horrible. Can I just say I look forward to when it's all over...Well sort of. I'm actually terrified of both candidates. Lets just pray that we'll be ok these next coming years.

ABC Blocks

I saw this in a magazine the other day and thought, Hey I can make those. So after I got home from the store I got out my scrap material and made some ABC blocks. They are lots of fun and the boys love them. I'm hoping that Dallin will learn the alphabet with them. We'll be working on that. I know there is a lot of girl fabric in them and I normally wouldn't make my boys stuff with girl fabric but it was scraps and I wanted to see how they would turn out because I'm planning to make them to sell. Now I know and I'm excited to make more!!

They're fun cause they are soft and easy to grab. They won't hurt when Dallin decides to chuck one at you. I'm thinking of putting animal shapes on the ones I make to sell. These ones only have letters and numbers. I'm also gonna make the other ones a little smaller because these are just to big and I think smaller would be more portable.

Bryant's Walking...

Well sort of...

Dallin didn't want to let Bryant have a turn as you can clearly see.

Updates...Boys growing up and Halloween Party fun!!

The boys have advanced to the next stage of their lives at the dinner table. Bryant is now a big boy and gets to sit in the high chair. He absolutely loves it!! He smiles from ear to ear and thinks he's so big.

Dallin gets to sit at the table with the adults on his booster seat. He also loves it!!
Then last night our apartment complex had a Fall Festival Party and we dressed the boys up in their costumes. It was so much fun and everyone thought the boys were too cute, I would have to agree!!
Bryant enjoying dinner on daddy's lap. The party was in the movie theater at the complex. It was raining outside.
I joined in and had some fun carving a pumpkin. I was on the team with the 2 little girls and one of their mom's. We had lots of fun!
This is what we carved.
Then after we got home I took Dallin's costume off and his hair was flat down on his head. It even had a little wave in it and it was so stink'n cute!! I almost wished his hair would always stay flat on his head. He looks like a totally different kid that way. He is cute none the less but it was nice for a change. Bryant's did the same thing.

And I'm proud (but not too proud) to announce that Dallin's vocabulary is getting bigger and better. He can now say:
Dad- Daii
Mom- Maa
More - Mo
No- Lo
Yes- Yahs
ABCD we're working on the rest
Bye- Bye
Bryant- Bry also sounds a lot like bye but it's definitely Bry
Bear- bai
Shoes- sues
and there's a lot more he'll copy most of what you say but I just get so giddy when he says something new and he does such a good job at it!!

Random Acts of Kindness

These first few pictures are of our ward party last Saturday. They had carnival type things to do and it was lots of fun! The boys had a blast!!
Bryant looks pretty silly in this first picture.
This is Dallin enjoying a cupcake we won in the cake walk.
Here he is jumping in the big bouncy thing.
Then this is what we did today. I had the great idea of having a day dedicated to random acts of kindness. I knew that the lady I visit teach needed her lawn mowed but her lawn mower was broken. So Corey, the boys and I went over and tried to fix the mower and mow the lawn. Corey worked on the mower and did fix the problem they thought was keeping it from working but there was another problem so we weren't able to get it mowed. We did however get about 200 mosquito bites between the four of us. I helped her clean up her back yard. I am feeling most the bites on my head right now. I'm sure my legs will look great tomorrow. Anyways it was still a nice time to visit with her.

Cute Bryant
Dallin found a kitty friend in the back yard, he is a lover of cats!!
Then we came home ate lunch and all the boys including Corey took naps. After they got up we wanted to do some more kind things so I called the compassionate service person in our ward and we found out that there is a really old lady, about 90, in our ward in the nursing home close to our home. So we loaded up the boys and went to visit her. I was way excited because this has always been one of my favorite things to do!! I guess according to my Relief Society Pres. she doesn't get many visits at all. She also has a very short term memory and is hard of hearing.
Dallin didn't want to leave the house without his stuffed animals. He even dropped one on the way out and was so concerned and turned around to pick it back up.
Dallin is not wanting his picture taken here.
Bryant and Arrie getting to know each other. She loved the boys. Dallin wasn't so sure of her at first but really warmed up to her later.
See what I mean, we decided to go for a walk after visiting with her for a while and he took her by the hand as we walked the halls of the nursing home. It was so dang cute. I sure love his sweet spirit!! Then as we were leaving I told him to say good bye to her and he actually said "bye". I was in shock. He can now say bye!! And then I told him to give her a hug goodbye and he went up and gave her a kiss. She was so tickled and loved it. I think we will be going back there often to check on her. I would love for my kids to love the elderly like I do.
Then about 2 months ago we got these free Italian Ice coupons in the mail and we finally took advantage of them. So stopped by the store and got them and had ourselves a good treat for all our hard work, if you can really call it that. We sure did enjoy our day. I love helping other in need!!
Bryant wasn't so sure of the Ice.
Dallin loved it!!
And as you can see I loved it too!!
Then when we got home from all that I cooked dinner and I just have to say I'm one lucky lady. My boys are too good to me. They love everything I make. Dallin absolutely loves spaghetti and he decided that he was even going to lick his plate after he was done. It makes me feel so good that they appreciate my cooking even if it is not that good.
"What me, I didn't do it, oh yeah, my mom is the best cook ever!!" said Dallin in a deep manly voice.
"oh yeah pretty good stuff"
"Yeah I love it too, she is the prettiest lady and she makes the best foods ever!!" in a squeaky baby voice!!
Look at that mouth, yummy!!
Ok I'm sorry if that is totally cheesy but it makes me laugh.

Here is a video of Dallin at the ward party in the big bouncy thingy, what do you call that thing???
